Chicago Bears Cornerback Charles Tillman revealed his seventh Charles’ Locker this past Saturday at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in Hines, Illinois. The locker is projected to impact the lives of over 55,000 patients and their families each year.

Charles’ Locker is intended to enrich the lives of patients by providing them and their families with access to notebook computers, handheld game systems, DVD players and DVDs to help pass the time during treatment and recovery.

Sponsored by Fifth Third Bank, this locker is Tillman’s first for Veterans hospitals. Six other lockers have been launched in various pediatric hospitals throughout Illinois as well as at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, Texas.

Charles’ Locker is a signature program of the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation whose mission is to provide opportunities and resources to children and their families who are in need.  Since 2005, the charitable efforts of Charles Tillman have impacted the lives of more than one million Chicago-area children.
