Bears fans in Orland Park had the pleasure of meeting a Chicago Bear on Friday, and they didn't even have to go to Soldier Field.

Charles Tillman stopped by the Meijer store in Orland Park to do a cooking demonstration and meet and greet with his fans.

He was joined by Healthy Living Advisor and Bear fan Maribel Alchin.  The pair made a whole wheat pasta salad to demonstrate health doesn't need to come at the expense of taste.

During the demonstration, Tillman answered questions from his fans and gave advice to the children in the crowd. He told the kids to work hard to attain their goals and stay focused on their dreams.

The Bears defensive back said he was "not worried too much about the lockout" and that "we need a good three weeks of pre-season play in order to prepare for the season."

When asked if he was concerned about the canceled Hall of Fame game he replied "the (Hall of Fame) weekend should be about the inductees and not about the game."

Tillman attributes his success to his parents who instilled a hard work ethic and have supported him throughout his life. According to Tillman, "my family is my motivation."
